Not only will this software cost you nearly a grand, youll also need to spend almost another grand buying the adaptor to go between your laptop and the engine. Then of course, you gotta figure out how to use it

On the older Cummins engines in the Dodge trucks, you could use Cummins software if you knew where to plug in at (not under the dash). I hear Dodge has pretty much shut that feature down now though.

With Cummins Insite software and communication adaptor, youll be able to do almost anything a dealer can.almost. All for 2,000usd for the genuine. But, if your budget is limited and youre looking for a tool that is working well, good China clone should be another option. All for 700usd or less .

Its not as intuitive to use as Detroit DDDL, Cat ET, or International MD/SM. Having said that, its the best there is for anything Cummins, like it or not.

HP uprates usually require $$ and factory passwords. Even if you worked at a Cummins dealership, you couldnt do it without the blessing of mother Cummins.

I cant imagine anything else you would want to do with it that a customer level version wouldnt do.

I honestly havent tried to shop for one, since I already have one at the school. I do know this: I wouldnt give you even 25% of what they go for new, for a used one. Those things are WAY overpriced for what they do. The individual cartridges for each engine were like 6 or 700 dollars EACH last time I checked. When you stop to realize that you can almost buy factory software for that, its like, why?

Configuring Cat Electronic Technician to use the Communication Adapter 3
For Cat Electronic Technician to work with the Communication Adapter 3, the settings must be changed to select the Communication Adapter 3 as the Communication Interface Device:
Step 1 : Start Cat Electronic Technician.
Step 2 :  Click the Stop Connect button when it appears.
Step 3 : Select the Utilities menu.
Step 4 : Choose “Preferences > Modify…”.
Step 5 : Select the Communications tab.
Step 6 : Select Cat Comm Adapter 3 (RP1210) and click OK.
NOTE: Because a growing number of products require multiple data link service, the “Enable Dual Datalink Service” checkbox has been pre-selected.
Servicing ECMs on more than one data link requires this check box to be enabled.

As we all know , all autel scanners need to register first , then you could download software, update online, retrieve information and get warranty service . We have customers who dont know how to register autel MaxiDiag MD808 ( or MD808 Pro ) , please check all details as bellow :

Notice : Before registration , please confirm your network is working properly .

Registration Steps :

1. Visit the website

2. If you already have an Autel account, Sign In with your account ID and password.

3. If you are a new member to Autel, click on the Create Autel ID button on the left side to create an ID.

4. Enter the required information in the input fields, and click the Get Verification Code button to get a verification code for email validation.

5. The online system will automatically send a verification code to the registered email address. Input the code in the Verification Code field and complete other required fields. Read through Autels Terms and Conditions and click on Agree, and then click Create Autel ID at the bottom. A product registration screen will display.

6. The devices serial number and password is located in the About section of the System Setup application on the tool.

7. Select your product model, enter the product serial number and password on the Product Registration screen, and click Submit to complete the registration procedure.

Reasons for CGDI MB“Load File Failed, error code: 27E1” Mon, 17 Jun 2019 07:32:03 +0000 cnautotool Here’s the issues for CGDI MB key programmer error: “Load File Failed, error code: 27E1”

Possible reasons that cause the error:

1).  Device fell on the ground and damaged

2).  Take apart the CGDI main unit manually

CGDI Prog MB host is equipped with an encrypted battery. If you disassemble the programmer, the encrypted battery will power off automatically. Benz Monster software refuses to run properly.

What’s more, the battery cannot be purchased separately nor installed by yourself.

The ONLY solution is to send CGDI back to repair.
