What is Caterpillar ET?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caterpillar Electronic Technician<\/a> (Cat ET) is diagnostic software required to communicate, diagnose and service electronically controlled Caterpillar engines and machines. When connected to an Electronic Control Module (ECM), a technician has the ability to diagnose existing and potential problems, configure the product, and obtain data for analysis.<\/p>\n

Caterpillar ET Functions List:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.View active and logged diagnostics.<\/p>\n

2.View events where irregularities occurred and were logged by the ECM.<\/p>\n

3.View the status of a group of parameters (temperatures, pressures, etc.) simultaneously.<\/p>\n

4.Record and log performance data.<\/p>\n

5.Graph a group of status parameters.<\/p>\n

6.View the current configuration of an ECM.<\/p>\n

7.Change ECM configurations.<\/p>\n

8.Perform diagnostic tests.<\/p>\n

9.Perform calibrations.<\/p>\n

10.Print reports and diagnostic results.<\/p>\n

11.Please keep in mind that some ecm settings for example, speed limit requires factory password. The factory password generator is not included in this application<\/p>\n
