This instruction show you guide on how ot use Volvo PTT Tech Tool<\/a> to change chassis ID for Volvo FH12 version2 truck.<\/p>\n

WARNING:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please change original ID to a REAL chassis ID (it need exit),otherwise you will lost communication with it after changing.<\/p>\n

Procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Connect Volvo Voccom adapter to truck\/ECM<\/p>\n

Run Volvo PTT software to identify truck models or input by manual<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Select \u201cProgram\u201d,then select \u201cParameter programming\u201d at \u201cService and maintenance\u201d option<\/p>\n

Click \u201cStart\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Select \u201cAll levels\u201d and then click \u201cPlay\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Check the box for option:<\/p>\n

The engine must be switched off<\/p>\n

The parking brake must be applied<\/p>\n

Now here you will find option \u201cDR Chassis ID\u201d is gray<\/p>\n

You can not change it current.<\/p>\n

Back to desktop to run Tech Tool Developemnt tool<\/p>\n

Input \u201cChassis\u201d to search,then select \u201cDR Chassis ID\u201d<\/p>\n

Then click \u201cSet Programable\u201d<\/p>\n

It will show you \u201cSuccess!Parameter updated\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Back to PTT software<\/p>\n

Click \u201cStop\u201d button<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then click \u201cPlay\u201d again<\/p>\n

After control units data reading finish,you will find \u201cDR Chassis ID\u201d shows as black<\/p>\n

Now you can edit it.<\/p>\n
