How to Update BMW ICOM NEXT Firmware to V1.44?<\/p>\n

Step 1. Login in ICOM Manager<\/p>\n

Run \u201cITool Radar\u201d to get the IP address \u201c169.254.92.38\u201d.<\/p>\n

Go to \u201c169.254.92.38:60080\/\u201d.<\/p>\n

Enter user name and password to login in ICOM Manager.<\/p>\n

Click \u201cUpdate Firmware\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2. Flash System Image File<\/p>\n

Click \u201cBrowse\u201d and load \u201cICOM-BootImage-01-28-00\u201d bin file.<\/p>\n

Select \u201cSYSTEM\u201don Image type.<\/p>\n

Click \u201cSend the file\u201d.<\/p>\n

Confirm to write the image file to the flash.<\/p>\n

SYSTEM image update successfully.<\/p>\n

Step 3. Flash Application Image File<\/p>\n

Click \u201cUpdate Firmware\u201d to go back to firmware update page.<\/p>\n

Click \u201cBrowse\u201d and load \u201cICOM-ApplicationImage-01-44-00\u201d bin file.<\/p>\n

Select \u201cAPPLICATION\u201don Image type.<\/p>\n

Click \u201cSend the file\u201d.<\/p>\n

Step 4. Reboot<\/p>\n

Now the APPLICATION Image version is updated to V1.44.<\/p>\n

Notice:
\n* The SYSTEM IMAGE and the APPLICATION IMAGE must be updated together, and Do Not reboot the ICOM before updating both of them.
