Then select \u201cSpecial Function\u201d<\/p>\n

Select \u201cRead Fault Code\u201d<\/p>\n

It prompts that C1515 and C1525 trouble code:<\/p>\n

C1515:Torque Sensor Zero Point Adjustment Undone<\/p>\n

C1525:Rotation Angle Sensor Initialization Undone<\/p>\n

Tap to clear the trouble codes,it will prompt you the trouble code have been cleared.<\/p>\n

Back to select \u201cSpecial Function\u201d<\/p>\n

Select \u201cAuto Search Special Function\u201d<\/p>\n

Select \u201cTorque Sensor Adjustment\u201d<\/p>\n

Launch X431 will prompt you with below massage:<\/p>\n

Use this function after replacing the following parts<\/p>\n

1.EMPS ECU<\/p>\n

2.Steering wheel<\/p>\n

3.Tilt steering column assembly<\/p>\n

4.Steering gear assembly<\/p>\n

This function adjusts the steering angle position.<\/p>\n

Please follow the prompt messages when you use this function<\/p>\n

Tap\u201dOK\u201d to continue<\/p>\n

Then you will enter the Torque Sensor Adjustment wizard as below,follow the massage.<\/p>\n

Note:Please confirm the vehicle is still and IG switch is on<\/p>\n

Turn ignition switch to OFF position<\/p>\n

Turn ignition switch to ON position<\/p>\n

Then press \u201cOK\u201d to continue<\/p>\n

Turn ignition switch to OFF position<\/p>\n

Turn ignition switch to ON position,the press OK to continue<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Make sure the PS warning light is on,the press OK to proceed<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Perform the following operations,then press OK<\/p>\n

1.Set the steering wheel to the center position<\/p>\n

2.Turn the steering wheel either direction 90 degrees or more<\/p>\n

3.Turn the steering wheel back to the center position<\/p>\n

4.Turn the steering wheel the opposite direction 90 degrees or more<\/p>\n

5.Turn the steering wheel back to the center position<\/p>\n

It will take about 40 seconds to calibrate,please wait\u2026<\/p>\n

When the process completing,it will prompt with below massage:<\/p>\n

Make sure the steering wheel is centered<\/p>\n

Note:During the next step,the steering wheel will vibrate.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t touch the wheel while it is vibrating<\/p>\n

Press OK to process<\/p>\n
