Trainer<\/strong><\/p>\n

#Purpose:<\/strong>
\nTrainer runs the service tool in a training mode, which allows the user to become familiar with the service tool without connecting to an Electronic Control Module (ECM) or Communications Adapter Caterpillar ET<\/a>. There is no charge for Trainer, and authorization is not required.<\/p>\n

#To use Trainer:<\/strong>
\n1). Launch the service tool. The Connection message box is displayed.
\n2). Click the Stop Connect button. The service tool main screen is displayed.
\n3). Click the Enable Trainer icon on the toolbar, or select Trainer from the Help menu, and then select Enable from the sub-menu. The Trainer dialog box is displayed.<\/p>\n

4). Select a product from the Trainer dialog box.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

5). Click OK. The Connection message box is displayed. The ECM Summary screen is displayed in the trainer mode, and “Trainer Active” is displayed on the Title Bar. Trainer simulates some of the service tool functions.<\/p>\n

To change the product simulated within Trainer:
\n1). Select Trainer from the Help menu, and then select Properties from the sub-menu. The Trainer dialog box is displayed.<\/p>\n

2). Select a different product from the Application drop down list.
\n3). Click OK. The Connection message box is displayed, and then the ECM Summary screen for the new product is displayed.<\/p>\n
