Procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Connect Nissan Consult 3 Plus to vehicle,then run software.<\/p>\n

1.Conducting Active Test:From the \u201cAll DTC\u201d screen, select the system you need to test.-In this example we will be looking at the Engine ECU.<\/p>\n

2.From the \u201cSelf Diagnosis Results\u201d screen, select the \u201cActive Test\u201dtab.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

3.Select the item that requires the test.In this scenario, a \u201cPOWER BALANCE\u201d test is being performed to determine which cylinder on the engine is not firing or which cylinder has the weakest performance.<\/p>\n

4.Numerous inputs can be checked whilst the test is being carried out.<\/p>\n

In the case of performing a cylinder Balance test, the technician will need to monitor air flow quantity & engine RPM.<\/p>\n

Select the desired items & then click \u201cStart\u201d.<\/p>\n

5.Select \u201cMonitor Start\u201dand current engine operating values will be displayed.<\/p>\n

6.Select the cylinder to test (arrowed) and then click on \u201cTest Start\u201d.<\/p>\n

Current engine operating values are now displayed (circled). Record this data and then click on \u201cReset\u201d to select another cylinder.<\/p>\n

Repeat for all cylinders.<\/p>\n
