Part 1. Launch X431 V reset Ford steering angle sensor steps<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open Launch X431 V Ford software.<\/p>\n

Go to \u201cAutomatically Search\u201d and it will show Ford Mondeo vehicle information as below:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Select Fuel Type, in this case the fuel type is gasoline.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Click \u201cSystem Selection\u201d and select \u201cABS\/TCS (Anti-Lock Brake\/ Traction Control Module)\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Go to \u201cSpecial Function\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kindly Notice: Launch X431 V support many Ford useful garage special functions.<\/p>\n

Choose \u201cConfigure The Steering Angle Sensor\u201d function.<\/p>\n

Then follow Ford steering angle sensor calibration instruction:<\/p>\n

Make sure car is stop not running on flat ground.
\nMake sure you set the steering wheel to straight ahead position.
\nYou will need to rotate the steering wheel.<\/p>\n

Click OK and turn on ignition (switch to position 2).<\/p>\n

Then rotate the steering wheel about 10 degree to left and right.<\/p>\n

Make sure the transmission gear selector is at PARK position.<\/p>\n

Press and hold the brake pedal.<\/p>\n
