This is a instruction show you guide on how to use Volvo Tech Tool diagnostic software do to fuel pressure monitor for Volvo FM4 truck.<\/p>\n

Volvo PTT Premium Tech Tool PTT 2.7.115 & 2.6 All Version Free Download<\/a><\/p>\n

Procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Run Volvo Tech Tool software on your PC,then input user ID to login (offline)<\/p>\n

Select \u201cTest\u201d\u2013>\u201d23-Fuel system\u201d\u2013>\u201dFuel pressure\u201d<\/p>\n

Then click \u201cStart\u201d button<\/p>\n

It show you warning message,select \u201cI have read and understand the above advisory\u201d<\/p>\n

And click \u201cContinue\u201d<\/p>\n

There are two options:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A:Present the sensors values in a graph<\/p>\n

Perform the test in the workshop(stationary) or during a test drive(two persons required)<\/p>\n

B:Read and present the pressure with the oscilloscope<\/p>\n

Perform the test in the workshop (stationary) or during a test drive(two persons required)<\/p>\n

Select \u201cA\u201d and click \u201dContinue\u201d<\/p>\n

To monitor the fuel pressure in various conditions for example during a test drive;either the oscilloscope test in this operation or a manual pressure gauge must be used.Manual fuel pressure test instructions can be found by selecting the symptom Low power in the diagnose tab.<\/p>\n

Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Read out the status of the operating conditions:<\/p>\n

1.Engine not running<\/p>\n

2.Run the engine at 600rpm<\/p>\n

3.Check the engine fuel pressure<\/p>\n

4.Run the engine at 1200rpm<\/p>\n

5.Check the engine fuel pressure<\/p>\n

6.Engine running<\/p>\n

Now here you can record the fuel pressure<\/p>\n

After then select \u201cOK\u201d,and click \u201cContinue\u201d exit Volvo fuel pressure monitor.<\/p>\n
