So the first thing we\u2019re gonna do is to connect our J2534 ECU box which is our diagnostic tool the blue one, we\u2019re going to connect with our APC101 cable instead of doing a wireless, so you cannot do this wireless so turn off your Bluetooth connect your APC101 usb cable to your Autel IM608 tablet to your diagnostic tool.<\/p>\n

So right now, I\u2019m just looking for the VIN of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

you can get it from the door, or you can get it from the dash right there as you guys can see that open.<\/p>\n

Okay, so we need this later on to compare it, we\u2019re gonna do automatic selection so that we can compare the vin, make sure that it\u2019s the correct vin.<\/p>\n

I have the new key in my hand ready to program. I tried to turn on the car but it wouldn\u2019t give me a notification on the cluster. About the key I wouldn\u2019t detect the key.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start you guys we\u2019re gonna go \u201cIMMO\u201d.<\/p>\n

Go ahead and look for the make Land Rover.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re gonna go to \u201cautomatic selection\u201d and then \u201cRead\u201d to read the Vin.<\/p>\n

You can see we already compared our Vin that we got from the door are from the dash and that\u2019s the exact same vin.<\/p>\n

Because if it\u2019s wrong, you guys will not get this done correctly, so let\u2019s go ahead, check all our information.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s go ahead and continue press yes.<\/p>\n

So we\u2019re gonna go to \u201ccontrol unit\u201d, then \u201cKeyless System (CAN)\u201d , then \u201cAll smart keys lost\u201d.<\/p>\n

So go ahead and press the start button.<\/p>\n

Click \u201cYes\u201d to delete all keys.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Read the notice:<\/p>\n

All of the learned smart keys will be erased, there must be at least two smart keys need to be learned.
\nThe original vehicle key need to do \u201cRecover Smart Key\u201d function at first.
\nSo click on \u201cYes\u201d to go ahead.<\/p>\n

Please turn the ignition off.<\/p>\n

Was the ignition automatically turned on? click on \u201cYes\u201d.<\/p>\n

And have vin information , part number and software version one more time.<\/p>\n

All smart keys were erased, please learn new smart keys.<\/p>\n

Put the learning smart key on your hand.<\/p>\n

Press Unlock button of the smart key to be learned for 1s within 5s, if the vehicle does not respond a few more times.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It says \u201cLearning successful\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tap \u201cNo\u201d to not continue to learn the next one.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Exit Autel IM608 Pro menu.<\/p>\n

Use the new key to start the car, perfectly, it works.<\/p>\n

We are going to go ahead step on the break.<\/p>\n

Press the start button.<\/p>\n

As you can see we have successfully programmed our 2013 range rover smart key with Autel IM608 Pro.<\/p>\n
