This EasyKeyMaker Honda Key Programmer<\/a> worked 100% for my 2011 Honda CR-Z<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Make sure the switch on the \u201cEasy Key Maker\u201d is towards the LED light.
\n2. Place your original\/working key in the ignition and turn it ON (position II). DO NOT START VEHICLE
\n3. Plug the \u201cEasy Key Maker\u201d into the OBD socket and LISTEN for 1 BEEP repeating.
\n4. Turn the key OFF and LISTEN for 3 BEEPS repeating.
\n5. Turn the key ON and the beeping will pause for 10 seconds. LISTEN for 1 LONG BEEP followed by 1 BEEP repeating.
\n6. Turn the key OFF and LISTEN for 3 FAST BEEPS followed by 2 BEEPS repeating.
\n*** THIS KEY IS NOW SAVED IN THE \u201cEASY KEY MAKER\u201d ***
\n7. Remove this key from the ignition and place in the key you want to program while the 2 BEEPS continue.
\n8. Turn the key ON and LISTEN for 1 BEEP repeating.
\n9. Turn the key OFF and LISTEN for 2 BEEPS repeating.
\n10. Turn the key ON and LISTEN for 1 BEEP repeating for 20 seconds followed by 1 LONG BEEP.
\n*** THIS KEY IS NOW PROGRAMMED ***
\n11. Turn the key OFF then unplug the \u201cEasy Key Maker\u201d.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: This does not program the remote door lock on the key. That is programmed by an additional process that does not require any tools. To do that you\u2019ll repeat a maneuver 4 times:
\n1. Place your new key in the ignition. DO NOT START THE VEHICLE
\n2. Turn the key ON (position II) and wait for about 3 seconds then PRESS the key\u2019s LOCK BUTTON.
\n3. Turn the key OFF and wait for about 3 seconds.
