Many Customer hesitate that whether the Mb Star C3 can Work .
Does MB Star C3 can Work ?
Yes Mb Star C3 works if using the Dell D630 Laptop with the internal hard drive option. You also need the D630 because it had a male serial data port for the multiplexer cable.

I ran a ton of diagnostics last night. Cleared old codes and got everything fresh.
Did cranking compression test, idle smooth test, turbo pressure regulator test. etc.
I did find when I did the injector shut off test Star C3 cyls number 2 and 4 made very little difference in the engines running where the others where dead holes. This concerns me as I just replaced the injectors. It won’t let me classify the injectors. when I input the 6 character number an invalid number error pops up. The factory presets are all a’s except the last digit is an E.
I can’t get and answer from the seller on that one because they don’t know.
I had a friend of DR. A’s try to classify my injectors this last weekend and he couldn’t do it with the DBRIII even though he was able to last year. Dr. A says not to worry about it. I do. Especially when I have 2 new injectors that my not be working properly. I also did found during the turbo test that when I opened and closed the gate valve that there was no increase in rpm. I need to check the actuator rod and actuator.
So, the Star diagnosis compact 3 can work well, and Star C3 can choose the software for 2012.11, or 2013.07. The MB Star C3 also can for IBM T30 or Dell630 Laptop.
