Recently so many customer meet could not connect with the Ford VCM2, They said when they click on the VCI manager,and click it works ,but could not connect,below is our solve ways.
If the vcm ii is not connected to the vci manager ,you need restart your laptop again, and wait a few 3-5 mins so that windows have completed all its start up checks etc
You shous then see a red icon in bottom right corner that shows vcm is connected.
If it is not, connect to a car so that vcm has power from car, then do delect all other and net it should bring up a screen of available interfaces.
What is version of VCI Manager or VCI software that will work 100% with ford VCM 2 VCI Interface?
Try version 2.3…., if this connect, then your clone is not able to use version 2.4…., happened before, put VCM in recovery mode then downgrade it,after you done it should show connect. Just download vcm manager or do recovery,i suggest you to install v2.3 to not damage your VCM II.
