Usage Advisory Following VCDS Software Updates

Issue:
I’m having an issue where when I try and launch VCDS and run an auto-scan , it says unlicensed interface and won’t let me do the scan. I’ve used V2PP to update the tool recently as well. What can I do?


 

Reply:
During the diagnostic process, when you see the software displaying auto-scan and ECU options, please select the ECU option and proceed to the next step. If you choose the auto-scan, it will not work.
