To prevent customers from purchasing products from other regions, the original manufacturer has now bundled the GM online account and regional ID together. The MDI 2 serial number for the North American region can only be used with the online account for the North American region.
If the MDI 2 serial number does not correspond to the region, the account may be locked and re subscribed.
How to solve it ?
1.We can remotely change it to his local serial number or his own MDI2 serial number
2.You can change the serial number by yourself according to the following steps:
1) connect MDI2 with your laptop
2)running this program
3) click Edit, our MDI 2 original serial number will be deleted
4)enter your MDI2 serial number and click ok, the serial number will be same as yours.
5)and then login the online account, it will not locked.
